Verus Certificación has recently obtained accreditation to certify the quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials, based on the requirements established in the UNE-EN ISO 3834 -X series of standards and following the guidelines relating to the accreditation process included in document EA-6/02, for the harmonization of the evaluation criteria of these certifiers based on the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard.

The requirements of UNE-EN ISO 3834-X standards cover key aspects for the welding process development, such as personnel (welding and inspection/testing), production equipment, operations planning, welding procedures, welding consumables, base material, post-treatments, etc. The aim of this series of standards is to deliver confidence in the adequate control of the welding of metallic materials, so that manufacturers who use certified processes to manufacture the capital goods they offer to the market can demonstrate they meet the requirements of their customers.
